Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary on-site point of contact between the Owner, EOSOL supervision team, EPC contractor, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders.
- Lead and coordinate the civil, mechanical, electrical, high-voltage, quality, and commissioning supervisors.
- Monitor construction activities from mobilization through Mechanical Completion, commissioning, performance testing, Substantial Completion, and project handover.
- Track daily and weekly construction progress against the approved project schedule.
- Identify schedule deviations, construction risks, critical activities, and potential impacts to contractual milestones.
- Coordinate with the EPC contractor to establish corrective and mitigation actions.
- Verify that construction activities are completed in accordance with approved IFC drawings, technical specifications, applicable codes, project procedures, and the Quality Plan.
- Monitor the quality of civil, mechanical, electrical, substation, transmission, PV, and BESS installation activities.
- Coordinate inspections of delivered equipment and materials and document damage, deficiencies, observations, and non-conformities.
- Track non-conformities, punch-list items, corrective actions, and their resolution.
- Support the Owner in reviewing EPC progress certifications, pay applications, change orders, cost proposals, and milestone completion.
- Review construction procedures, method statements, inspection records, testing documentation, and technical reports.
- Prepare weekly and periodic progress reports covering construction progress, schedule, quality, risks, workforce, equipment deliveries, photographs, and upcoming activities.
- Maintain meeting minutes, action-item logs, risk registers, photographic records, and project correspondence.
- Coordinate with the Quality team to ensure that project documentation is complete, properly organized, and uploaded to the Owner’s document-management platforms.
- Collaborate with the HSE Manager to monitor compliance with project safety and environmental requirements.
- Escalate unsafe conditions and support the suspension of activities when uncontrolled risks are identified.
- Support pre-commissioning and commissioning activities, including Mechanical Completion verification, energization and LOTO procedures, start-up, performance testing, and punch-list closure.
- Review final As-Built documentation, operation and maintenance manuals, and project handover records.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of three years of experience in a similar role supporting utility-scale solar PV and BESS construction projects.
- Previous experience as a Site Manager, Construction Manager, Project Manager, or Owner’s Representative.
- Strong understanding of utility-scale renewable energy construction, including civil, mechanical, electrical, MV, HV, substation, and commissioning activities.
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary construction supervision teams.
- Ability to read and interpret IFC drawings, technical specifications, construction schedules, quality plans, and testing documentation.
- Experience monitoring EPC contractors, subcontractors, construction progress, quality, risks, and contractual milestones.
- Familiarity with QA/QC processes, inspection records, non-conformities, punch lists, and project closeout documentation.
