We are seeking a high-caliber Project Management Lead to direct the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) of utility-scale and commercial/industrial solar PV, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and hybrid renewable energy projects.

In this role, you will take full ownership of turnkey project delivery across the region—ensuring exceptional construction quality, strict budget adherence, on-time COD, and world-class jobsite safety.

The Successful Project Management Lead will be Responsible for:

  • End-to-End Project Execution: Lead, plan, and execute all phases of solar and BESS construction from engineering handoff through commissioning, capacity testing, and final handover. Maintain full accountability for project safety, quality, master scheduling, and environmental compliance.
  • Client & Subcontractor Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for Project Owners, Developers, and Independent Engineers (IE). Oversee procurement efforts, manage subcontracts (civil, structural, electrical), and rigorously review change orders, claims, and variance requests.
  • Financial Oversight & Cost Control: Establish and manage detailed project cost models, earned value, and forecasts to completion. Oversee project cash flow, approve subcontractor pay applications, and manage client milestone billings.
  • Site & Construction Leadership: Direct on-site Construction Managers, General Superintendents, and Project Engineers. Enforce contractor execution against the master schedule, drive recovery plans when needed, and mandate strict adherence to Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and safety protocols.
  • Stakeholder & Grid Interconnection Engagement: Drive coordination with local utilities, RTOs/ISOs, local AHJs (Authorities Having Jurisdiction), and community representatives to ensure seamless site access, permitting compliance, and grid interconnection.

The Successful Project Management Lead will possess:

  • Experience: 7+ years of direct EPC construction management experience in the energy sector, with a proven track record of delivering renewable energy projects (solar PV and/or utility-scale BESS).
  • Role History: Prior experience acting as an EPC Project Management Lead, Prime Contractor PM, or Senior Construction Manager on utility-scale or large C&I renewable builds.
  • Project Controls: Strong proficiency in project controls, earned value management, subcontract management, and scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
  • Safety Culture: Deep commitment to a Zero-Harm site culture with expert knowledge of OSHA construction standards (OSHA 30 certification required).
  • Leadership & Mobility: Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and field team management skills. Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel up to 25%–30% to project sites.
  • Work Authorization: Must be currently authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications for the Project Management Lead:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Civil, Mechanical), Construction Management, or a related technical discipline.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification and/or Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Direct design-build experience with high-voltage (HV/EHV) substation, transformer, and interconnection infrastructure.
  • Practical understanding of Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) compliance execution, including prevailing wage and apprenticeship requirements on site.

The Successful Project Management Lead will receive:

  • Competitive base salary with merit-based performance increases and an annual project-completion incentive/bonus plan participation.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company matching.
  • Robust paid time off (PTO) policy, including vacation days, paid holidays, and paid parental leave.
  • A collaborative, dynamic, and diverse working environment focused on driving the global energy transition.
