Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable, hardworking CDL Driver to join our traveling Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) crew, specializing in underground utility installations on large-scale solar farm projects.

This position involves transporting drilling equipment, trucks, trailers, and materials between jobsites, as well as operating a water truck on-site to support daily drilling operations.

This is not a driving-only position. The CDL Driver is an active member of the drilling crew and will be expected to assist with equipment setup, drilling operations, and other field responsibilities as needed.

Our crews work primarily in Florida and neighboring southern states. This position requires out-of-town travel, with housing provided by the company and a living-out allowance (LOA) paid while working away from home.

  • Perform required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
  • Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and company safety policies.
  • Monitor truck conditions and communicate maintenance or repair needs.

Directional Drilling Crew Operations

  • Dependable, hardworking, and willing to learn.
  • Positive attitude and ability to work well with a crew.
  • Willingness to perform physical work and help wherever needed.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

No previous directional drilling experience is necessary. We will train someone who is motivated and willing to put in the effort.

Travel & Work Schedule

Our crews work primarily on utility-scale solar farm projects throughout Florida and nearby southern states.

  • Out-of-town work is required.
  • Housing is provided and paid for by the company.
  • Living-out allowance (LOA) is paid.
  • Overtime and extended work hours may be required depending on project needs.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Overtime opportunities.
  • On-the-job training.

Who We're Looking For

We're not necessarily looking for someone with years of drilling experience. We're looking for someone who is reliable, takes initiative, listens, learns, and isn't afraid to get their hands dirty.

If you have a CDL, are willing to travel, and are ready to put in an honest day's work, we can teach you the rest.
