Construction Supervisor Job Summary

• Responsible for overseeing daily activities at a specific site, ensuring safety and the timely execution of key milestones.
• Preferred experience with utility scale solar P V and battery energy storage systems .
• Advises contractors of any violations and recommends necessary adjustments to operations (BESS) .
• Approves construction phases by conducting thorough inspections.
• Continuously assesses and promotes safety on-site.
• Ensures that all required permits are obtained and maintained .
• Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by adhering to established guidelines, standards, and procedures.
• Manages project administration accurately and in a timely manner .
• Keeps comprehensive project records, including daily logs, materials documentation, as-built plans, and pay quantity records.
• Oversees subcontractors on-site, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and best practices.
• Contributes to operational standards by providing construction data for strategic reviews.
• Performs additional duties as needed to support project success.
• Prevents fines and work disruptions by ensuring compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
• Recommends changes to construction plans to accommodate field conditions or optimize cost savings.
• Schedules, conducts, and prepares documentation for substantial completion and final inspections, including punch lists.
• Coordinates work schedules and inspection phases with contractors and agency personnel.
• Submit reports and project updates in a timely manner to all relevant stakeholders.
• Takes field measurements to verify contractor billing, ensures proper placement, and conducts quality reviews of construction work.
• Witnesses and documents acceptance testing at various stages of construction.
• Collaborates with management to monitor and control the project budget, reporting on expenditures.
• Works with the purchasing team to order necessary materials and equipment.

Requirements

• Proficient in reading and interpreting construction blueprints and elevation drawings.
• Executes responsibilities with ethical integrity, professionalism, and thorough follow-through.
• Possesses 1-3 years of experience in the construction industry.
• Exhibits a strong desire to learn, a high-performance work ethic, and a positive, approachable demeanor.
• Communicates effectively in both verbal and written formats.
• Familiar with SAP or similar software (preferred).
• Familiar with construction management software ( e.g., Procore ) .
• Strong time management and problem-solving capabilities.
• Skilled in presenting proposals and managing projects.
• Possesses excellent analytical skills.
• Holds a valid driver’s license.
• Upholds strict confidentiality regarding all company-related matters.
• Applies strong time management and organizational skills to ensure efficiency.
• Works effectively within a team-oriented environment.
• A proactive problem solver with the ability to think critically.
• Adaptable and adept at managing and prioritizing multiple tasks and deliverables.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, or similar office software.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
