Electrical Foreman – Solar PV (MN)

Description

Ground Support Group is looking for an Electrical Foreman to lead our solar PV construction crews in Minnesota. You'll be the lead on site from start-up to shutdown, responsible for safety, production, quality, and your crew's growth.

Pay: $58–$62 per hour Reports to: Assistant Construction Manager

What You'll Do

• Put safety first. Lead the morning stretch-and-flex and safety meeting, and cover site hazards and daily topics.
• Supervise, schedule, and coordinate all personnel installing solar PV systems
• Plan crew workflow, including scheduling with subcontractors on site
• Manage crew production and productivity standards
• Open and close the site each day, set up daily JHAs, and make sure Procore time entries are accurate and signed off
• Send daily progress reports to Construction Managers and join weekly calls with GSG leadership
• Request materials, equipment, and personnel as needed, with clear details and photos
• Receive material shipments, check them against the BOL or invoice, and manage tool inventory and upkeep
• Train apprentice electricians on the job and hold workmanship to industry standards
• Raise any personnel issues with CSG managers and HR

What You Bring

• Licensed Journeyman or Master Electrician
• 4+ years managing an electrical install crew on solar PV projects
• OSHA 30 certification
• High school diploma
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Strong leadership, planning, prioritization, and follow-through
• Clear verbal and written communication and attention to detail
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and Procore (or similar)

Nice to Have

• NABCEP PV Installation Professional certification
• Fall protection training, forklift experience, First Aid certification

The Details

• Full-time. Longer hours and frequent weekend work may be required. Available for overtime and emergency response.
• Outdoor work year-round. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and do strenuous field work.
