Firebrand Electric is an established and growing electrical contractor serving Sonoma, Marin, Napa, and Lake Counties. We specialize in high-quality residential and commercial electrical installations, troubleshooting, solar PV systems, battery energy storage, and standby generators.

We are looking for an experienced, California-certified Journeyman Electrician with strong electrical installation skills and preferably hands-on solar experience. Position Responsibilities and Qualifications

• Perform residential and commercial electrical installations, including rough-in, trim-out, and final completion.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and project plans.
• Perform electrical troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs.
• Install electrical panels, feeders, branch circuits, lighting systems, and electrical equipment.
• Install and troubleshoot residential and commercial lighting and lighting control systems.
• Assist with standby generator installations and electrical service upgrades.
• Maintain accurate as-built drawings and communicate field changes.
• Coordinate with project managers, other trades, and fellow electricians.
• Maintain safe, organized, and professional job sites.
• Complete assigned work efficiently while maintaining Firebrand's quality standards
• Current California General Electrician Certification required.
• Strong experience in residential and commercial electrical installations.
• Solar PV installation experience strongly preferred, including inverter installation, system wiring, energy storage systems, and understanding of commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Proficient in conduit bending, electrical rough-in, and finish work.
• Knowledge of the California Electrical Code and safe electrical work practices.
• Valid California Driver’s License and insurable
• Dependable, punctual, organized, and professional.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Willingness to take responsibility and demonstrate leadership in the field.
