Construction Manager – Utility-Scale Solar & Energy Storage

Location: El Paso, Texas

Compensation: $150,000–$190,000

Relocation Package: Available

Travel: Site-based role with home rotations typically every 3–4 weeks

Overview

Are you an experienced construction leader ready to take ownership of large-scale renewable energy projects? This is an opportunity to lead field execution across utility-scale solar and battery energy storage projects, driving safety, quality, schedule, and cost performance from the ground up.

What You'll Do

• Lead civil, mechanical, and electrical field execution across complex utility-scale projects.
• Build, coach, and develop high-performing Superintendent teams.
• Drive project performance across safety, quality, schedule, budget, and environmental compliance.
• Manage subcontractor performance, contract compliance, change orders, and invoicing.
• Proactively identify construction risks, resolve field challenges, and maintain strong client relationships.
• Coordinate with Safety, Quality, Environmental, Logistics, and Project Management teams to deliver successful project outcomes.

What We're Looking For

• Proven construction management experience in renewable energy, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
• Experience leading superintendents and managing subcontractors across multiple construction scopes.
• Strong knowledge of project scheduling, cost control, risk management, and contract administration.
• A track record of delivering safe, high-quality projects on time and within budget.

Preferred Experience

• Utility-scale solar projects of 50 MW or larger.
• Heavy civil construction, substations, high-voltage systems, and transmission tie-ins.
• Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and EPC project execution.
