Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Solar Technician and become a vital part of the renewable energy revolution! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting solar power systems across commercial and residential sites. Responsibilities

  • Install solar photovoltaic (PV) systems on rooftops and ground-mounted sites, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and industry standards.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute installations.
  • Perform electrical wiring tasks involving high voltage and low voltage systems, complying with NEC (National Electrical Code) requirements.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, roofing equipment, and forklifts to complete installation tasks efficiently and safely.
  • Conduct system inspections, troubleshoot electrical issues, and perform repairs to optimize system performance.
  • Collaborate with construction teams on site to coordinate fixture installation, plumbing connections, and other related work.
  • Maintain detailed records of work performed, including inspection logs, safety reports, and system documentation.

Experience

  • Proven experience working as a commercial electrician or in electrical construction on large-scale projects.
  • Familiarity with high voltage (HV) and low voltage electrical systems essential for solar power installations.
  • Strong understanding of schematics reading, blueprint interpretation, NEC standards, and electrical codes.
  • Hands-on experience with roofing work, fixture installation, plumbing connections, and construction site procedures.
  • Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, roofing equipment, forklifts, and other construction machinery safely.
  • Prior experience working on construction sites or in the renewable energy sector preferred but not required; training provided for motivated candidates.
