LOGISTICS MANAGER

Job description:

To act as the Owner’s representative to ensure proper delivery, handling and warranty process for all owner furnished equipment for utility scale solar and BESS projects.

Location:

100% at job site; 45 miles north of Flagstaff, AZ

Pay:

DOE $40-$45 per hour (hourly, non-exempt)

This position may be eligible to participate in benefit plans currently offered by the Company provided that all eligibility criteria are met.

Reports to:

Onsite Construction Manager

Preferred Background:

Required Skillsets:

  • Organization
  • Computer skills MS word, Excel and MS PowerPoint
  • Communication to third parties and executives
  • Schedule and planning understanding
  • Construction means and methods knowledge
  • Management means and methods knowledge
  • Must possess a valid driver's license

Job Responsibilities:

  • Works collaboratively with superintendents for mechanical and electrical trades to determine project priorities, schedule and work plans to meet milestones
  • Help ensure proper delivery sequencing per contractors construction needs.
  • Reporting daily, weekly and monthly on progress, indicators, and recovery plans to all project stakeholders
  • Ensure contractor is following the OEM's warranty process
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to stand, walk, kneel, bend, and reach for extended periods on construction jobsites.
  • Ability to traverse uneven terrain and work in varied weather conditions typical of outdoor construction environments.
  • Ability to distinguish color‑coded wiring where required for safety‑critical electrical work, with reasonable accommodation where feasible.
  • Ability to wear required PPE and comply with all site safety protocols.
