PV Solar Installer Scope of Work

ARE Solar has a new and exciting opportunity for a Solar Installer. ARE Solar is a locally based company that has been providing solar to both residential and commercial clients for 15 years. Customer satisfaction is the foundation of our business, as part of the installation team you will be interacting directly with clients. It is crucial that you demonstrate ARE’s commitment to provide the best service possible and create a positive experience.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Preparing residential and commercial sites for solar system installation.
• Ensuring a safe work environment by adhering to all safety rules and regulations.
• Assembling and installing solar systems, including roof and/or ground mounts.
• Testing installed systems to ensure optimum performance.
• Confirming that proper inventory has been pulled for each job.
• Completing additional safety and installation training as needed.
• Performing additional carpentry tasks as needed, including framing and concrete pouring.

PLEASE KINDLY TAKE NOTE:

That around 90% of the work is on roofs (We are a solar company, and we install solar panels).

It is a plus if you have:

• Experience working in roofing, construction, and/or electrical.
• Strong problem-solving, prioritization, and time-management skills.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Experience climbing ladders and working on roofs.
• The ability to lift 50+ pounds.
• Personal transportation and a driver’s license.(required)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $35.00 per hour

Experience:

• Photovoltaic systems: 1 year (Preferred)
• Construction: 1 year (Preferred)
