Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Journeyman Electrician role based in El Paso, TX. The Journeyman Electrician will install, wire, and terminate electrical components for utility-scale solar projects in accordance with electrical codes, project specifications, and safety standards. Daily responsibilities include reading and interpreting electrical drawings, performing conduit and cable installation, mounting and wiring equipment, and assisting with commissioning and testing of systems. The role also involves inspecting and maintaining electrical systems, identifying and resolving issues in the field, and documenting work performed. The Journeyman Electrician will work closely with supervisors, forepersons, and crew members to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality project execution.
Qualifications

• Strong foundation in electricity principles and electrical theory relevant to utility-scale solar systems.
• Hands-on experience in electrical work, including installation, wiring, and terminations on commercial or industrial projects.
• Proficiency in maintenance & repair and troubleshooting of electrical systems, components, and equipment.
• Familiarity with electrical engineering concepts, electrical drawings, and specifications used in construction environments.
• Current Journeyman Electrician license in Texas (or ability to obtain), and knowledge of NEC and local electrical codes.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety, including adherence to OSHA standards and company safety protocols.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics, use electrical testing tools, and work effectively in outdoor, construction-site conditions.
• Reliable transportation to the El Paso, TX job site and ability to work full shifts, including overtime as project needs require.
• Previous experience on solar, renewable energy, or utility-scale construction projects is beneficial.
