The Impact You'll Make

Short term internship for Summer 2026, about forty hours per week.

At Danfoss, you'll play a part in shaping a more sustainable world—starting with the way we design and power industrial systems. As an electircal engineering intern on our R&D team, you’ll gain hands-on experience building the technologies that help reduce global energy use and drive the green transition

This is your chance to work on real product innovations with very high-power motor drives and grid converters, alongside industry experts who are passionate about mentoring future engineers. You won’t be fetching coffee—you’ll be solving real challenges that make a measurable impact.

What You’ll Be Doing

Prepare and instrument test setups for validating high-power electrical systems and components.

Run hardware and PCBA validation tests, helping ensure our products meet quality and safety standards.

Update schematics and PCB layouts using Cadence tools to support real-time product development.

Work with simulation tools like PLECS to analyze parasitics, thermal effects, and overall system performance.

Troubleshoot hardware and software issues in collaboration with experienced engineers—gaining deep insights into advanced product design.

What We're Looking For

Understanding of electrical/electronic systems and a strong interest in hands-on engineering work.

Completion of at least 2 years in a B.Sc. program in electrical engineering, electronics, or a related field. Graduate program experience strongly preferred.

Familiarity with tools such as Cadence, LabVIEW, and PLECS is a plus.

A team mindset, willingness to take initiative, and a passion for solving real-world engineering problems.

Interest in learning medium-voltage safety practices and working in a lab environment.
