Descripción del puesto

I am partnering with a well-capitalized international energy group building out a utility-scale solar portfolio in the U.S. The immediate focus is a 130+ MW solar PV project in Texas, now moving through construction. This is a boots-on-the-ground Owner's Representative seat with full field ownership on behalf of the Owner.

The Role

You will serve as the Owner's primary on-site authority for the duration of construction. You will keep EPC contractors sequenced and accountable, make sound field-level decisions on behalf of the Owner, and make sure what gets built matches the IFC drawings and specifications

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for local authorities, inspectors, and permitting agencies
  • Represent the Owner in all field-level communications with external parties
  • Coordinate and supervise EPC contractor activities to keep construction safe, efficient, and properly sequenced
  • Monitor environmental and permit compliance on the ground, including SWPPP/NOI, stormwater, dust, and erosion controls
  • Track field implementation of RFIs, design changes, NCRs, and Owner approvals
  • Monitor construction progress against the approved schedule daily and escalate schedule risks early
  • Act as the on-site link between Engineering, Procurement, and Project Management
  • Coordinate delivery, storage, and tracking of Owner-furnished equipment and materials, and oversee laydown and site logistics
  • Submit regular progress reports and keep accurate daily site logs and inspection records

What You Bring

  • 2 or more completed utility-scale solar projects in the U.S. as a site-based construction representative, field supervisor, or equivalent
  • Hands-on knowledge of solar PV construction: civil and grading, pile driving, racking, module installation, and electrical balance of plant
  • Strong communication skills across contractors, inspectors, and internal teams
  • A self-driven, practical approach and the confidence to make field-level calls independently

Why This Role?

This is a true Owner-side seat, not an EPC support role. You carry the Owner's authority in the field and the decisions that go with it. For a construction professional who wants full field ownership on a live utility-scale build rather than a back-seat coordination role, this is a career-defining one to own end to end.
