Position Summary

Headline Inc. is seeking a dependable, hardworking Event Construction staff to join our team. This position is responsible for the hands-on construction, installation, and breakdown of event infrastructure, along with warehouse organization, inventory support, and general operational support across our facilities and event sites. This is a physically demanding, fast-paced role suited to an individual who takes pride in skilled labor and wants to build a long-term career in the live events industry.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in the installation, operation, and dismantling of tenting, fencing, truss systems, and modular staging at event sites
  • Support power distribution setup, including generators and site electrical infrastructure, under appropriate supervision
  • Perform general event site setup and strike, including signage, barricades, and miscellaneous infrastructure
  • Maintain warehouse and shop organization, including inventory tracking, equipment staging, and facility cleanliness
  • Provide logistical support across departments, including material transport and equipment retrieval
  • Collaborate with fabrication, AV, and site operations teams to ensure builds are completed on schedule and to specification
  • Follow all company safety protocols and applicable OSHA and site-specific safety requirements
  • Perform other duties as assigned based on business need

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in construction, warehouse operations, stagehand work, or a related field preferred; no direct experience required, training provided
  • Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs or more on a regular basis
  • Ability to work outdoors in a range of weather conditions
  • Ability to work extended hours, including early mornings, late nights, and weekends, based on event scheduling needs
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to follow direction while also exercising sound independent judgment
  • Comfortable working in a team-based, physically active environment
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to our Denver facility and event sites required
