We are a mission-driven clean energy company specializing in turnkey solar solutions for commercial and institutional clients. This Field based position will manage the troubleshooting, testing, and repair of Electrical Infrastructure on Commercial Solar Projects throughout California, Nevada, and Arizona.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years troubleshooting Commercial Photovoltaic Power Systems
Experience maintaining and servicing Commercial solar monitoring systems (SolarEdge, SMA, SunPower Monitoring, Enphase, Satcon, Xantrex, and other various monitoring sites).
Experience maintaining and servicing Commercial solar inverters/micro-inverters (SMA, PVI, SolarEdge, Enphase, Fronius, Delta).
Proficient with jpg, pdf, and file management within various computer programs such as Sales Force and various solar monitoring platforms.
Duties include but not limited to:
Manage and perform electrical work such as landing conductors, bending conduit, pulling wire, and installing electrical equipment.
Utilize Meghommeter and Multimeter for electrical testing.
Perform PV System Troubleshooting by testing inverters, conductors, and modules.
Meet about and implement Site Safety plan on a daily basis. Ensure safety protocols are in place, done correctly, and documented. Applicant must be a competent and qualified person for fall protection.
Communicate with on-site customer representatives, service manager
Operate on equipment such as Boom Lift, Scissor Lift, VR Forklift
When necessary run temporary laborer to assist in the work
Must have a Real ID or Passport
Do Not Apply if you do not have Commercial Solar Troubleshooting Experience for 3 years or more.
Ability to work at great heights, and lift at least 50 pounds frequently.
Hours: Monday – Thursday [4] 10 hour shifts per week. 7 am to 5 pm. Sometimes work Fridays.
Travel 100% of the time. Do not apply if you cannot travel 100%. 3 to 5 nights in a hotel each week, usually 3. Vehicle provided to get to jobsites and drive home at end of travel. Per Diem included.
Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and an acceptable and clean driving record for the past 5 years.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $33.00 - $43.00 per hour
