Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Solar Installer based in Elk Grove, CA. Responsibilities include the assembly, installation, and maintenance of solar panels on residential and commercial rooftops and ground-mounted systems. The role involves the use of power tools and hand tools to securely install and connect system components, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and company standards. The Solar Installer will collaborate with team members to meet project schedules and deliver high-quality renewable energy solutions to clients while maintaining a safe work environment.
Qualifications
- Experience with Solar Power and Solar Systems, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in using Power Tools and Hand Tools for installation and maintenance tasks.
- Knowledge of the Solar Industry and current best practices in renewable energy projects.
- Ability to follow safety guidelines, work at heights, and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and team collaboration abilities.
- Previous field experience in electrical or solar installation is required.
- A high school diploma or GED is required; relevant certifications (such as NABCEP certification) are a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
