ROHL Global Networks is hiring full-time, year-round Laborers to join a cable plow crew in our Renewable Energy Division.

The Role

In this role, you will report to the Crew Foreman as a member of an 8-10 man Cable Plow crew. Your key responsibilities as Laborer will be to support ROHLs projects by providing physical labor during all phases of the construction processes. You will provide a broad range of support in areas such as hand work, material movement, clearing terrain, site preparation, shoveling and basic equipment operations. You and your assigned crew will work across the Southeastern United States, with each project typically lasting three weeks on-site with one week off in between. Lodging for these assignments will be provided with $50 daily per diem.

Material Management and Site Maintenance:

• Load, unload, and move construction materials around the worksite.
• Signal to operators of construction equipment to ensure the safe alignment and movement of materials.
• Assist in rolling up medium voltage power cables and barricading them safely
• Ensure the worksite is organized and free of clutter, rubble, and garbage to maintain operational efficiency and safety.

Safety and Compliance:

• Execute and adhere to the company’s safety program while actively promoting a culture of safety among team members.
• Attend daily and weekly safety meetings and inspections to stay informed of safety protocols and updates.
• Work with the Safety Department to investigate damage, incidents, or near misses at the worksite, ensuring proper procedures are followed according to the company’s Safety Program.

• Work in a safe and responsible manner, ensuring personal actions do not intentionally or unintentionally endanger yourself or others.
• Exhibit professionalism and leadership in all interactions with team members, clients, and stakeholders.

What you Bring

• Previous laborer experience (minimum one year) considered an asset
• Must hold a valid US driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to travel for roughly three weeks at a time
• Lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding work for extended periods
• Perform repetitive movements and tasks in all weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold
• Wear required PPE, including hearing protection and respiratory equipment when required
• Work in environments with high noise levels, vibration, and potential musculoskeletal strain
