Junior Installer / Solar Apprentice

Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Junior Technician / Solar Apprentice to join our solar installation team. This entry-level role is designed for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the solar industry while supporting experienced technicians in the field. The ideal candidate will have a valid Florida driver’s license, a clean driving record, and a strong interest in learning the trade.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport crew members, tools, and materials to and from job sites.
• Act as a dependable "go-for" on site — helping ensure the team has what they need to work efficiently.
• Assist with uninstalling and reinstalling solar panel systems during roof work or service calls.
• Hand tools, equipment, and materials to technicians as needed during installations and removals.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment on-site and in company vehicles.
• Follow all company safety protocols and OSHA requirements.
• Support warehouse operations when not in the field (e.g., loading/unloading materials, inventory organization).
• Learn solar installation practices with the goal of progressing to a Technician role over time.

Qualifications

• Valid Florida driver’s license with a clean driving record (required).
• Willingness and ability to drive crews to job sites regularly.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and eagerness to learn.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladders.
• Previous construction or solar experience is a plus, but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $20.00 per hour
