Full-Time Field Performance Technician

Role Overview

The Field Performance Technician manages, schedules, and completes service and warranty work, working independently or as part of the Performance O&M team. They collaborate with various team members, including supervisors and the centralized service team, to ensure efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize and lead warranty and service schedules
• Allocate labor resources for projects
• Train and support field service technicians
• Conduct regular team meetings and onboarding
• Exceed performance metrics such as turnaround time and dispatches
• Assist with inspections and site audits as needed

Qualifications & Skills

• 1-3 years of field construction or solar experience, PV knowledge preferred
• High School diploma; Electrical Journeyman license preferred
• Knowledge of NEC codes, electrical principles, and PV systems
• Strong customer service, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work safely on rooftops, lift materials up to 100 pounds, and operate in outdoor conditions

Additional Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Physical ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in various weather conditions
• Adherence to safety policies and procedures
